Born April 30, 2014 at 1:26 am. Weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces.
Thomas was born at 41 weeks, 3 days, only a few hours after going in for an induction. His birth was much quicker than his big sister's! The induction hadn't really even begun when I went into labor, and once it started, it was fast and furious (2-10 cm, baby in arms, in just 2 hours!). After several failed attempts at an IV, he couldn't wait for mom to get an epidural, and I experienced the real deal. Not recommended, if you can help it! Recovery was much quicker this way, however. He is now 3 weeks old, and doing great!
Taylor's doing great, too! She's already an amazing big sister. She loves holding him, helping to feed him, consoling him when he cries by singing to him, or saying, "it's ok baby brother!" She loves introducing him to everyone at school, and announces "my baby Thomas!" every time we pick her up. She is so sweet with him.
