The Sniffles

Talyor officially has her first cold...and first ear infection. I've known something wasn't quite right for the past few days. She was really struggling to eat, only taking a few ounces at a time and getting very upset when I would try to feed her more. After a visit to the pediatrician yesterday, her ear infection was discovered. Apparently it's been painful for her to suck & swallow because of the ear (she's also been very stuffy and can't breathe well while eating). She really had no other symptoms (the ones you always hear about, like sleeping terribly, fussy, fever, etc) and is otherwise her usual content & happy self! (On a side note, her weight is now 13 lbs, up from 10.14 at her 2 month visit - still 50th percentile).

She is just starting to be able to grasp toys with her hands now (and her feet....she loves her feet!), and is happy to practice any time.

 We got Taylor in the exersaucer  for the first time. She's a bit too small for it still, and can only sit in it (supported by pillows & blankets) for a few minutes, but we can already tell this will be a hit! (Thanks to her cousins Meghan & Michael!)
