8 months have come and gone. Truly difficult to believe! It's amazing to see Taylor's personality emerge as she explores and learns about the world around her at the most basic level. She loves scooting around and getting into all the things and places she should avoid! (electronics, behind the furniture, into shoes and wires). She continues to be such a good baby - sleeping well, traveling well, eating well. The month of October has been a major month of growth including sitting up from a tummy position, cutting a top tooth, eating more 'regular' food cut into small pieces, and really moving around the house (although still pulling herself with her arms for the most part).
Bath time is a lot of fun around here these days. No matter how tired she is, Taylor truly enjoys tub time with her friend Ducky. They laugh, talk, splash and have a grand ol' time.
This past weekend we went to Taylor's friend Carter's Christening. We weren't sure if she'd make it through the hour and a half sitting quietly in the church, but in true Taylor form she did great! She even sang along with the choir!
In other news, we were able to get a beach day in a few weeks ago thanks to the mild Fall we've had; Taylor slept through her first earthquake, a rare 4.6 magnitude quake centered in Maine; and today we brace for Hurricane Sandy...
